China always fascinated me. It’s literally in our backyard and yet there is so little that we know about this magnificent nation. We have so many things in common and yet it seems to be the most alien culture for an Indian to experience.

As one of the six ancient cities in China, Beijing has been the heart and soul of politics throughout its long history and consequently there is an unparalleled wealth of discovery to delight and intrigue one as you explore the city's ancient past and exciting modern development.

That said, no one, and I must assert no one, will speak to you freely. And you will always have this feeling as if someone is always watching you. Can be an eerie, quasi-spiritual experience.
